The concert will begin with performances by a gifted pianist and two exemplary violinists.
Sophomore, Tussah Heera, will open the show with Chopin's Piano Concerto #1 in E - 3rd movement, followed by Tammy Hung presenting Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto in D, Op. 35 - 3rd movement. Tamas Toka, a sophomore at Odyssey Charter School, will close the first half of the concert with Sarasate's best-known work, Zigeunerweisen (Gypsy Airs) Op. 20.
The second half of the show will highlight the talents of two Las Vegas Academy students, as well as one of the youngest musicians to perform at the show. Grace Hauen Kim will play Haydyn's Piano Concert in D and Victoria Young, 6th grader at Bob Miller Middle School, will present Bach's Piano Concerto in D - 1st movement. Completing the lineup of these musical virtuosos is David Chavez performing Hindemith's Trauermusik.
